I recently brought home my second Kuda.. he is bout half the size of my female. He was mostly white and hopefully becomes darker.

Although my oldest is completly comfortable with her surrounding.. she is has mood swing, this is good.

She turn white and has black spots and sometimes she is pitch black with tiny white spots, very very beautiful.

Anyone have experience kuda's?
What have you found to be their ideal temp, salinity, food, ect.?

I am at 76, 1.025/1.026, frozen mysis.

Oh yeah and roommates include two mandarins(one male, one female) whom also share frozen mysis.

I recommend a gradual decrease (over 2 weeks) in the temp to 70 because the higher temps encourage growth of harmful disease producing bacteria. I also keep my salinity lower like 1.021/1.022. I like to vary the mysis brands I give them, alternating from day to day with an occasional treat of live mysis!

You really don't need to drop the temp that low, but I'd definitely keep it below 75*F, so shoot for about 72*F - 73*F. 75*F is the point where bacteria begin to bloom like crazy. Your mandies should still be OK at that temp.
