Stopped by the store today for the first time and Justin and his staff were very helpful. I picked up a very nice leopard wrasse today (fished it out of his display tank for me)and without a doubt plan to be back.

The store is looking very nice and it sounds like it is set to be even nicer. Finally a store in the city that can keep miles off my car driving South!

Highly encourage you to stop by and check it out it is the real deal.

49 Dubose I think. It is right after you pass South Van Ness on Division. I can't say it is worth a trip from Salinas yet, but things definately look like they are coming together. Looks like they are still stocking up their corals. Their tanks and dry goods are set up (very nice set up) and they have several different fish and corals, but it definately looks as if they still are loading up. I don't even remember seeing signage outside of the shop yet.

I think the leopard wrasse was the only one. I have been looking for one for a while.

I went there too... nice place.. still in process of filling things up.. came in the store did not get greeted nor asked if I needed help though.. got help only when I asked.. but was curtious when helping me out. I say top 5 in aquarium shops ( LOOK WISE ) from the ones that I have seen throughout the bayarea.

1 thing though is have fun trying to find parking there.. better parking is about a block or 2 away. but the tanks and corals are nice....

Yeah it's 49 Duboce Ave, however there is no sign on the building, heck I don't even remember seeing numbers! But it's the all blue building right next to the electrical store.

Dang - did they have any more leopard wrasses I've been looking for one.

When I was up at Exotic last Thursday afternoon they had 3 or more leopard wrasses.

Well street parking is all but non-existant however there is a private parking lot right next door to the place, it says "XXXX electrical customers only", however inside there are only about 4 spots that have place cards that say that

i believe you can park in the lot right next to the place...i just went there for the first time, and i really dug the place...i bought a cleaner wrasse, various snails and some really, really tiny blue legged hermits..i deffinatly plan on going back in the future...all the staff seemed helpful and curtius[especially shana]who took the time to make sure each snail stuck to the bag before closing it up..awesome store with some great potential...between them and lucky ocean, theres no need to travel out of the city, unless im giging in the easy bay...peace,brandon
