LA Gig

Well I got one of the gigs from LA. It just got here this morning. I floated the bag for about 15 mins. When I opened it up it smelled like death has been hitching a ride with it. It is still alive but who knows for how long. I had to put it in my DT because my QT tank has some anthias that I am trying to get to eat. Maybe tonight after I take my daughter to piano lessons I will have to swing by Petsmart and pick up a 10 gallon for it. I use to have Cipro but I keep it under my tank. One day when I was playing around I knocked a reactor hose out and right on to the bottle I had. It knocked it over and I guess the lid wasn't on very tight. They all got wet and I had to toss them. Is there something local that I can use. Would one of the big box stores have something with all the meds that they have. Or even a farm and feed store?

Here is something for size to figure the size of it out. That is a Acan not to far away from it. I would have to guess its only 2 inches across. But I really like the color of it. They said tan but its almost a yellow-green. So I cant wait to see if I can save it and what color it will be.

"Fish flox" can be found at some stores. Its cipro. May not be as effective as human grade cipro but it should do the job.

Well I got home with everything and all I had left is a brown jelly blob that use to be it. I guess I will have to call liveaquaria tomorrow. I gave them a call today after opening it up and gave them a heads up about it. I told them my plan and that I was going to do everything that I could to save it.

Yeah I will give them a call again tomorrow. I called them the day I got it and gave them a heads up and they put a note under the order that it wasn't doing good. On a side not I did order up some more cipro for my next one. I also picked up a extra tank for another hospital tank. So now I have a QT and a hospital tank for doing different thing with.
