laboute fairy wrasse - sand required?

i'm reading contradicting info on whether laboute wrasses burrow in sand at night.

i would like to order one, but want to make sure he will be ok in my bare bottom system before spending the money.

is anyone keeping a laboute in a bare bottom display?

They shouldnt need it. Fairys in general secreet a cocoon of mucous, and sleep in that.

thanks... i know that's how flashers and a lot of fairies sleep...but i have read there are some that burrow.
