Ladybugs doing the backstroke

We had an terrible infestation of the asian ladybugs in our house the winter. They came into the house in the fall, and I'm hoping they will now start leaving. In the meantime, this whole winter I have constantly been fishing ladybugs out of my aquarium and sump. The are attracted to the aquarium lights and then find there way into the water. I have been having troubles with algae, and just know they are the source of nutrients. Literally I clean out probably 100 or more of them from my aquarium each week, and that is no exaggeration. Am I the only one who has this problem? Luckily, we're reaching the time of year when they leave the house for the great outdoors.

Not the only one having the problem, trust me on that. Find ya a nice fish that'll eat em as they land. :D

my falco hawfish has a great time eating any mosquito or moth that dares land on the top of his water! :D

Plus it's really fun to watch him do it :D
