I'm talking about the ones that looks like GSP but much much larger and are normally either brown/pinkish or brown with green inside. Are these easy to keep, and do they grow easily?

This is the type I have and they neer open all the way for long and hardly ever grow.

there are 2 things that come to mind right now 1 clove polyps which i have heard there kinda hard to keep but i have no experience and the other easy to keep and look like em but i cant think of the name

Those are clove polyps. Those are the more common ones from everything i've seen. Not hard to keep IMO. I've got some that are completely green..not as bright of a green, but pretty decent color..much less common according to everyone who's seen them in my tank (they all want them i guess lol).

Anywho, not difficult to keep IMO. I started with about..10, and now have over 200 within about 8 months or so.

Are there any specific/particular conditions/suplements/care to pay attantion to when keeping these? I am currently doing my homework and considering purchase.
Thanks everyone.

I had some before, and in my experience they don't like a lot of light. I had to place mine under an overhang to prevent direct light from getting to them in order for them to grow. Also keep them away from any LPS corals, i had a favia send out sweepers and kill the entire colony in 2 days.

To be honest, i've never done anything special with my tank and its mostly softies...just put them in a regular softy tank and you'll be fine. I basically do nothing to my tank for the last 3 months or so, and i've got about 75-100 new polyps in that time period. They're somewhat taking over the tank actually. As for them not liking bright light... I'm not so sure. I've got 4x39w t5's over a 40b tank, so i've got pretty strong lighting...mine started in the bottom and worked their way all the way up to the top of my rock in a very short time period. So idk...i'd say they like pretty bright lighting, but thats just my experience with them.
