Update:

I've been in Ohio for the week, but I'll be coming back tomorrow for a day or 2. I'm hoping TJ and I can finish what needs to be done with the tank. #1 fix the little plumbing issue, # 2 build an egg crate stand for the skimmer and # 3 get the rest of these corals I don't want sold. I'll also have TJ take some pics of the tank since it's been a while.

Things went really well. TJ fixed the plumbing issues, so its all gravy now . TJ also built me a stand for my skimmer and now its finally just breaking in. I should have that nem in there in a few days hopefully!

Got the plumbing all fixed up yesterday. Man it's sweet how the system works. Next time I'm over at the house, I'll have to take a video of it kicking in.

I ended up having to cut the pipes down so they barely broke the surface of the water in the sump. Once I did that, the system had no problem purging the air and allowing the siphon to kick in.

Also, I built a 4" stand for the skimmer out of egg crate, and according to Laura's brother, the skimmer has finally started kicking in. Now hopefully in a week or so, I can get the RBTA out of my tank, and into hers.

I'm trying to talk Laura into keeping most of her acans as well, mainly because I think it just helps the tank look full.
