I just wanted to say that I ordered 2 - 30 lb. boxes of Lalo live rock and could not have been happier with what I received.
I had the rock overnighted to try to avoid as much die off as possible. It arrived around noon the next day, the pieces were nice and large, only a couple pieces of rubble. Rinsed it off, picked off sponges, put it in tank. Gave it a little scrub the next day and here we are a week later and the tank is almost cycled. Ammonia has been 0 for a few days and nitrites are almost 0 (.25ppm).
The shapes of the rock are spectacular, the coralline colors were amazing, and although it faded a bit during the cycle I am sure it is going to come back looking great. Would definitely order live rock from them again and do plan on ordering some corals and fish in the future.
