Lamarck Angels

I see discussion about these guys from time to time, so I just thought I'd offer a cautionary tale. Picked up a pair last week, was eating well several times a day and swimming out in the open. Today, started going hard at my acans, blastos and favia. Into the sump and back to the LFS tomorrow. Bummer, cause they are really pretty fish and were fun to watch.

I've had my Bellus for almost nine months and it's been completely reef safe so far. But I've read others have issues, sometimes after a year or two of good behavior. I feed mine very well which I hope will keep her from turning on the corals.

Ever thought about the Watanabe Angel? Personally I think the females are a little less pretty than the Bellus, but also at a cheaper price.

I've been looking. I really love wrasses and most of my tank will be occupied by them, but I'd like a "centerpiece" fish like an angel or something. But after having to tear the tank apart getting these two out last night, I'm a little wary of anything on the "probably fine" spectrum. But I guess that's just the hobby in a nutshell.
