lamarck's angelfish

We keep one at the store. Its in a 200g reef with a Naso and Achilles tang, anthias, blennies, mandarin, etc. Hope that helps.

marinecenter.com has pics.
thats where i found it, and i had never seen one before either.
pretty fish though.

anyone else have one?
i am looking to see if it would fare well in a 75 or a 90 gallon reef tank with a pair of clowns, trio of chromis, midas blenny, and watchman goby as tankmates.

It would be ok in there while it was small. They grow kinda slow. After a while though you'd need to move him to atleast a 120.

hmmm. any angels or tangs that would be good for a 75?
i am looking to get a nice "centerpiece fish" that will round out the list. especially now that i plan on the bigger tank. i dont really want the yellow tang, though.

Any tang right now as long as it is small to medium, as long as your still planning on getting a larger tank. Dwarf angels of any type would be fine.

I have a cherub (pygmy) angel and really like him. As far as tangs, I really like the powder brown, sailfin, and achilles. The achilles is kinda tough to keep. The powder brown is (I think) as pretty as the powder blue but not seen as often. Pretty sweet fish.

the 75 is about the biggest tank i could afford to outfit right now, so i am looking to get fish that i could house as adults in that tank. it seemed that there would be more options with angels than tangs. headonkey are you keeping a cherub angel in a thirty gallon?
