Hi guys Long time since my last post. looing to build a tank 84x32x32 peninsula style, The problem and the Q to this post is about the glass thickness. in my city I can only get ultra clear glass 10 mm or 12 mm, its too thin to this proyect but I was thinking about laminate it and temp it. what do you guys think? will it work?

Or can you point me where I can buy 3/4 starfire glass to ship it over tucson or phoenix AZ

I assume you’ve already spoken to glass shops on your area? Maybe call Glass Cages and see if they’ll provide any advice?

Why are building instead of buying? Just curious.

I would definitely buy rather than build and put the liability/guarantee on the company instead of risking it yourself. Good luck!

To add some "math" to this..
Keep in mind that this isn't using any bracing.

12mm is fairly good if height is decreased to 24"
Then bottom could be 12mm but tempered IF the calc is correct.

Any way I'd still add bracing to any "home made" build.

Don't see a point in laminating it as that doesn't seem like any SOP that I have seen.
