Lanceolatus Wrasse

Does anyone have a picture of a female lanceolatus wrasse? My LFS has one for sale and has it listed as a pintail wrasse which isn't a lanceolatus but they are calling it a lanceolatus by its species name. For $99 this would be a steal! I just want to make sure it isn't a really bad ID.

Mine that I had was listed as a pintail and was $120. Not the best pic but only one I have of it

Did it look like that when you got it? I took a pic of it, I just can't seem to find a juvenile pic of a lanceolatus.

This is what they're calling a pintail wrasse with a name of C. Lanceolatus

They were known as C cf.lancelatus prior to being named now as C. isosceles

But that pic kind of looks like a C. shutmani (magma) juvenile. A better pic would be help

It kind of looks like a Ogasawara Fairy wrasse

It's def a C. Shutmani sub male. Aka magma

Could be shutmani, but the purplish dorsal and anal fin also look more like a female C. rubrisquammis.

Tj, I honestly think that is shutmani. I'm almost completely positive
