Large Carpet Anemone

So, I think we've decided our carpet nem needs a new home. He's approx 10" in diameter when outstretched, and very healthy. He's been thriving and looking great in our tank since we got him (about 6 months ago). Upon doing other research (completely unrelated LOL) I have found that apparently their min tank size should be 100 gal, and we only have a 55. He's already grown a good bit since I bought him, and afraid he will outgrow the tank before we can upgrade. Our LFS is asking $70-$100 for the same size (not sure exactly what size he would be classified under, and they don't have the specific measurements in their size charts, just small, medium, medium/large, large, etc), so we are asking $60. (If it matters, we have had success in hosting clowns with him as well. Not sure if that's on the clowns part or the nem's lol)

I have a carpet slightly larger that that. I had to move it into a 29 gallon. Its fine in a tank that small. However, the care it takes to keep the animal healthy is far more intensive. I also feed mine very sparingly now so it doesn't grow nearly as fast. Frankly, if you fed this thing a lot, it would get to 3 feet eventually. But if you only feed it 2-3 times a month, it should be fine.

We've actually had issues with missing fish, and found him to be the culprit, and he's also bothering neighboring corals. LOL it looks as though he reaches right for the mushrooms! He'd probably do best in a tank by himself with a few clowns, no other fish or no corals near by. We just can't rearrange the tank nor can we feed less, I'm worried about it being more likely to pick off the other fish if it's not well fed.

He's gone. Exchanged for a RBTA at the LFS. From what I've researched, and been told by first hand experience, they aren't as fish aggressive.
