large cube tank owners i have ? please

im having a new plexi tank built it will be 60"x"48x"30 i would like
a complete open top it will have 2 external overflows. my question is with a tank this size will a 6" lip be large enough if i have the whole tank made out of 1" plexi? or will i need a larger
lip? thanks....

my 36x36x30 cube is built from 3/4" acrylic and i beleive the eurobracing is like 3"...you should be fine.

I have a 48x48x36 tank, the plexi is 3/4"

1" is very beafy...my 60"x33"x36" is 3/4" body with 5/8" top with center brace and the tank is 8yrs old and is still very straight

My glass tank is 96x48x30 made of 3/4" Diamante low iron with a 4" wide Starphire Euro-Bracing (1/2" thick)...
