Ah that sucks Dan. I've been seeing more and more ads for people selling HOTO on the "other" forum and read about how there are some scammers. I don't think you were the first or will be the last. Sucks though!
In more positive news, how are those BKChem corals of yours doing? You were the BKChem west coast dealer for a while and it seems like your corals are doing much better now in your new tank right?

Hey Mike,
lol feel like I'm the last to find out about guy led reef. Bought 2 of his so called purple monsters as well. I'll make up for em with other corals.
Everything is now coming back strong. I did cut ties with BK recently. If any of you have ever dealt with him, you'll know he's very easy to walk away from. Just some of his corals are unreal. Just no telling if you'll end up with what you payed for. Hoping I can keep and grow what I have. I sold some to a guy in Los angels. He should be able to get me some fresh frags soon of some I've lost. Starting to work with reef raft Canada now. We'll see.
As for these fake pcs. I may just grow into colonies than get my money back. Still look cool. Just not what I bought.

Good to hear! I've never tried to deal with BKChem, as I heard it was not easy and I'm not sure my wallet could afford them. But he's got some nice corals. It seems like BKChem and SBB are the two main sources for the newest high end corals. Unfortunately their prices reflect that as well!

Dan is the man. Hes my go-to for new high end pieces.
I saw it in person at Dan's place a bit ago and could pretty much tell it wasnt right. its nowhere near deep blue enough. HOTO, the blue really stands out like the Tyree superman tenuis and OG ATL blue Tenuis in person its pretty easy to tell actually.
