Large reef tank in office building

Finally I have chance to see the tank personally today. It's still far from finished. All lights are on tonight. The tank looks awesome. But only several piles of LR in it. I guess the whole setup won't be ready until the end of Oct.

I belive its supposed to be 2 self cleaning Deltec AP1006 skimmers.

Two skimmers on one system? Common mistake. One will never work, while th other does the work.

This was the last time I talked to him though when it was supposed to be 2 3500g systems instead of one 7000g system. And I know he already had 2 skimmers, so dont know if the plans for that has been changed.

Yes! There are two 3500 gal tanks with one equipment room in between. AP1006 is used, just don't know if it's powerful enough.

Guess I can not put them on the public forum. The tanks can now be seen even from the parking lot though.

The lobby just opened today. Dr Le and his stuff were there too. Here are the pictures of the tanks. With its size you can actually see the tank from across the street. :strooper:

This aquarium is not finished aquascaping IMO. I heard they will put in more stuff.

I saw a scuba diving gear inside the fishroom. Sounds like they have to dive in to clean the tank. No magnet cleaner allowed? Ofcourse its a 2" thick acrylic. I don't think I need to upgrade my tank anymore. All I need to do is just go down the lobby watch and enjoy the aquarium at the same time getting paid too.
