large rimless builders

Thanks, yes receiving a quote from them is a nightmare which makes me think the wait could be the same for getting one. Plus for the size i wanted they said it gets shipped to new Orleans then i have to pay the local store to go pick it up and deliver to me in dallas. Love the 48 width is that a rimless tank as well? I haven't contacted miracles but other than elos noone I've contacted will build what i want. A.g.e. won't even rebuild my tank dimensions that they built, and I've had it 4 years without issue. Big question now that i know your going wide and possibly rimless, how you going to light the width? I guess since only going 72 you could do two 60 inch fixtures one behind the front one?

I had mine eurobraced since I'll be putting a canopy on it and a clear mesh on top of the tank so that I can keep wrasses. I could've had it rimless but what's the point when I'm going to put a canopy on it.
I've been rimless and topless for almost ten years now and have not been able to keep the wrasses I want. I want a change lol.
Give them a call, you'll be surprised what they can build.
I also called Felix at Reef Savvy and he was able to do a rimless the size I wanted as well. However, the lead time at Reef savvy is considerably longer at Miracle. I was quoted 6 months lead time while miracle was only 6-8weeks.
My aquarium of choice would be from what I've experience so far.
Elos(but I would not deal with the nonexistent service, if there's someone else that can get Elos into the country without going through Coralvue, then I might consider it)
Reef Savvy( if you can handle the long lead time. Their prices are close to Elos
Miracle(right price, reasonable lead time, and good service)

Miracles,Reef Savvy, AGE

Neither of these will build over 24 inches tall. Why don't anyone make 1 inch starfire? Only builder who will build over 24 tall is elos, I asked for a custom quote let's call it 3-4 months ago. Still no quote on the dimensions i want.they did finally a month ago give me a quote of a tank a totally different size of what i asked for, not sure how that helps me. Anyone have any other suggestions? I'll go as low as 26 maybe even 25 inches but i dont want a 24 tall tank with water lines and bottom glass thickness that would barely give me 20 inches of rock stack and that just wont cut it.

If any reputable builders are reading this and would like some business I want 260x80x65cm dimensions, pm me a quote

This may not be what your looking for but an idea I used many years back. I know you want rimless but perhaps you can compromise. I had a custom tank made from Oceanic roughly 12-13 years ago that had a stainless steel frame around the top. Obviously not rimless but very nice looking and maybe 2" wide. Only one crosspiece going across the tank at maybe 2" wide. Maybe not what your looking for and maybe they don't make these any longer i don't know. I've heard when Oceanic broke up some of then designers started Planet Aquariums out of Texas. If that sounds like an option perhaps look into them?

I used one of the break up of oceanic companies a.g.e. for my tank now they did a good job. It's 72x32x28.....noone will even build 25 now what gives?

1" glass will be quite hefty to move around.
Is 1-2" really that important to you? If it is then it's might be worth keep asking around.
