Large rimless, where to buy?

I`m looking for a rimless tank custom made with the following meassures:
71L*30W*28H

Not sure if its best to go with acrylic or glass? The tank will be a peninsula, with overflow at one short end.

Any ideas where I can get a tank like this made? Should be as near Linden, NJ as possible to save shipping costs..

Thanks:)

Anyone here having experience with buying tanks from advanceacrylics.com located in Anaheim,CA?
If so, do you have any pictures of your setup, maybe some close shots of build quality and some comments?

If you're in So Cal and want a rimless for a good price, contact Ali at http://www.amazingaquariumsandreefs.com/.

He can give you three options. He's an official Elos and Lee Mar distributor plus he has a tank builder that looks to do great work. I went to his shop (which is all rimless) and saw examples of work from Lee Mar, Aquarium Obsessed and his tank builder. He didn't have any Elos at the time, but he can always order.

All three looked to be good options, but eprsonally I'm leaning towards getting a tank from his builder.

Rimless acrylic is very very expensive compared to Starphire glass btw. I've contacted Envision and John from advanceacrylic.com and it didn't make sense for the size I wanted (roughly 130g shallow) and rimless.

I will have John make my sump though.

Thanks for the tips, will have to look into them to :-)
Looking at advanceacrylics.com/feedback.htm they get very good feedback from Ali and I got a very good price quote from John so maybe its a safe buy?

I'm sure John at advanceacrylics does good work. That's why I want to get my sump from him. :)

The question though is how thick will a rimless acrylic tank need to be in order to make it safe at the size you want? For the size I wanted, both James and John didn't feel safe going any thinner than 1".

Making the walls 1" thick adds a lot of cost and also limits you on certain things like Vortechs or even other magnet mounts. So the trade off for going acrylic wasn't worth it for me. It might be for you.

here is my envision rimless, James does Great work
