large tank aluminum stand???

have any of you guys seen or run a aluminum stand????im thinking about building the stand for my new 300gal out of 2x2x3/16th aluminum sq. tube what you think?????

I have seen couple aluminum stand for smaller tank but i have not seen anything that big. It will be pricey and you still have to power coat it...

Why waste the money going aluminum?? For the saving from the aluminum, you can get yourself some pretty coll reef toys to play with :lol:

U certainly can have a steel stand- but I went aluminum PC since the unit is simply better and less issues down the road.
No gussets and so forth.

Nice......I'm not sweating the cost of it for once ed lol.....that's the reason I asked I have sticks of aluminum already the steel I will have to buy.......I think I just might do it.....I was thinking for awhile now I was just nuts or something and was gonna be the first person in the world to do it lol......I posted a similiar thread in the diy forum and not a single reply hmm............just might do it....
