hello,
i recently was a little traumatized when i bought a 145g eurobraced tank, and the front seams started splitting in the middle while the tank was still cycling... i want to buy a new 6' tank 220 - 240g, but not sure which route to go. i was hoping for some info...
do marineland 220g tanks have a lifetime warranty that covers home damage if the tank busts and you have it on a factory stand? i have heard it, but have been unable to find it in writing... i want to see it in writing, and find the exclusions...
if so, would it void the warranty to place the 220g tank and factory stand on a 4" solid wood raised platform that is level? their stands are sooooo stinking short! lol
i'm trying to keep to 3k for a tank, stand, and canopy... the local "custom" ones are in my price range. after seeing first hand a seam give and then hearing of several others, i want to try a different route...
any other thoughts? different brands you would recommend? what route did you all go? any regrets or info that might be valuable?
thanks!
