Larger Bandit Angelfish

Is it a bad idea to buy a larger bandit angelfish that is around 4.5 inches? I have always been wanting one to put in my peaceful community tank. This is a full SPS tank where the temperature stays around 78 degree year round. Tank size is 250 gallon lightly stocked.

I picked up my current Bandit about 4 years ago. At that time, he was under 2 inches. With the aid of a chiller, my tank is right at 74 degrees. As far as corals, he loves picking at anything meaty, such as plates, scolymias, etc...
If you can get one that is eating well, I would strongly encourage you to get one. These guys are beautiful, IMO. :)

From what I have read, the bandit angels do better when purchased at a smaller size of 3" or less. This one is a bit bigger so I am worried about getting it to eat and adapt to aquarium life.

find out if it was caught by Rufus grab it asap....
nya has one, forget the size, that has been eating well for a few weeks now..
if it is the nya one, grab her as she is a Rufus Bandit...

I just picked up a 3.75" bandit a few days ago and she is in 78 degree water. Starting to eat well also. I personally love bandits, so I would take the chance and pick it up

Theres a 3.5 inch one at a LFS by me that is doing great. I kno that they will ship and are a great company.
