larger FOWLR pricing/suggestions

Given my collection of puffers and whatnot there is a 200+ gal tank in the future. (already got the 140/150 but future planning here)

Saw a AGA 220 w' overflows, black wooden stand, tops, 2x 36" PC lighting for $1500 at an LFS on special. Maybe could get just the tank for ~ $850 but the 1500 is package price.

Good deal?

The lack of sump(s) and whatnot doesn't bother me as that is an easy DIY for a fraction of cost of buying them. (pump/bioballs of course included in project)

That just leaves protein skimmer (2x coralife 220's @ $170 each), big berlin, etc? (suggestions here)

This would all be eventual home of big puffers, emperor angel, russell's lion, etc.

Got plenty of live and base rock. Would most likely go bare bottom for sanitary/maintenance reasons.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Like the BB idea. I switched a couple months back and could not be happier. Wouldn't go with 2 skimmers. Probably a large ASM model rated for twice the tank size IMO.

Thanks... Glad to know I'm not the only one to take rated skimmer load and divide by 2. Truth if not in advertising, at least in math.

2 of the coralife 220 would be great for that setup i believe it was anthony that said u are much better running two skimmers than one then u will always have one of them running at peak and can alternate cleaning schedules for them
