largest 4 ft tank?

L * W * H /231

So 48 * 24 * 24 / 231 = 119. something or other. So rouned up its 120 Gallons.

note this is just rough numbers to figure out Gallons.

48 * 24 * 30 /231 = 150 Gallons

Be careful of deep tanks. Do not underestimate how difficult it can be to maintain and aquascape a tank over 24" deep, not to mention the increased cost of buying and running lamps to properly light it.

perfecto now makes a 48X36X27 200 gal. be cautious how big you go though. like seapug was saying, the bigger and deeper the tanks is, the tougher it is to do anything inside of it and to more expensive it is to provide lighting, flow and filtration.

whoops just realized someone already said that..

All i know is that a 24" deep tank is a pain to get right to the bottom. When you have your arm in there you cant see from the top down what you are doing, and unless your arms are like 10' long you cant peek in at the side to see either. It makes easy things difficult!
