Lasers and Manjano

Do these lasers really work to rid Manjanos. I have quite a few and am tired of the Joes Juice, Aptasia X, Kalk paste. All of these remedies work somewhat but all also **** off all my other corals when pumps get turned on. I also have a Manjano Wand that does again work somewhat but it is hard to get to some of them.
Can anyone suggest where to get one if they do work?

Have both and I do not have any Aptasia but they do not touch the Manjano.

You will get mixed opinions on this. IME high powered lased DO WORK!. As soon as you focus the laser on the anemone, you will hear it start to pop and boil. I have killed MANY an aptasia this way.

The argument comes in when talking about how well it rids the system of the pests. Some people believe that using a laser will actually make the anemone release spores and lead to more aptasia. This has not been my experience, but I am no expert.

As for where I got my laser, I built it. High powered lasers can be difficult to find, because it is not legal to sell them fully constructed, and they can be VERY dangerous if proper safety measures are not taken. You can literally blind yourself in an INSTANT. I got mine from a place called survival lasers. I had to assemble it, which included some soldering.
