lateral line

i was feeding them romain lettuce usually once a week, just started seaweed, pellet food daily, brine shrimp once a week.
salinity 1025,alk. and cal. has been going up and down because i have been messing with a calcium reactor.no phosphat and no nitrates, fresh carbon every other month, reef solution daily for the last 2 to 3 weeks, orp is 200 to 300 mv , ph is 8.4 to 8.7

Someone was saying that the granule size of the carbon could be causing an issue in one of the previous threads. The idea that smaller grains can release more dust and that larger sized grains might be more friendly. Might be something to think about considering your nitrates are not high. Also, which pellet food? Brine shrimp can be somewhat nutritious...and then sometimes not. If you can, get yourself a vitamin supplement. I use Kent Zoe, but I hear Selcon is much better. Should aid in getting your fish caught up nutrtionally. It could be that your fish is suffering from a vitamin deficiency.
