Reefing On My Mind
Team RC
So I told a few of you at the meeting of my latest purchase... He's been coming out a bit more every day... Its a male Genicanthus Bellus... I have been looking for one for the past year and a half... He seems pretty healthy and is eating well so far... :D

Here is his female counterpart... :) I've had her for the past year and a half...

Owners have seen them spawning, but I'm pretty sure none of the offspring have made it past the skimmers of the tanks they were in... ;)

No aggression what so ever... He was out pretty much all day yesterday and is eating about everything I put into the tank... I'm looking forward to him developing streamers... But he's a lot prettier than I thought he was going to be... The grey has a blue sheen that doesn't show in pictures... :)

Congrats Randy -- looks like a beautiful fish.

If you hear a bump in the night, no worries -- just collecting some planktonic eggs ;)

Thats good, cause I'd have no idea how to... I'd just bring you over my skimmate... ;)

I don't mean to be a negative nancy BUT...eh...not really doing anything for me. hah hah.

Tell me what's up with the fish though Randy. I really want to learn about it. I know nothing about Angels. That's what that is, right?

Can't say I ever named a fish, but I always thought of the maroon clown I had as "Big Red". I suppose that is more of a couple of adjectives than a name.

Oh, and pretty cool fish. ;) I always like it when more than one saltwater fish of the same type get along in the same tank.

Randy...I knew you were going to post a link. I will try to get some time to read it.

Do they get about 6" in length?

I'm actually VERY interested in the angels as they are pretty showy fish and there are some that stay relatively small. Those coral beauty ones are gorgeous.

What other angels are considered *somewhat* reef safe?

You aren't fooling me Randy. I bet all your fish have cute little names....

My latest aquisitions are 2 clowns, Fred and Ginger.
