Latezonatus - Haven't seen any for years

I'm in the Uk and they've never been regularly available but the odd pair would turn up infrequently. The last pair of fish I saw were 6-7 years ago. Is there a specific reason for this ?

I'm not sure if quality marine ships fish to the UK, if it does to Mexico, and Latezonatus appears frequently in availabilities. Until some time ago, it was difficult to see it available, currently there are captive servants.

My LFS had two for sale (€600 each) 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure they came in from TMC, UK - haven't seen any since.

Spoke to my LFS about trying to obtain a pair. He asked TMC who just happened to have a single fish around 2" total length so I took that and am now waiting for another.
