haha. yeah, i love the car. i'll get some pics up soon. I was originally looking for a gated gen 1 but after driving the lp car my mind was blown. it's been my dream for a long time to have a bright orange lambo! you'll love it.

Yes, the LP are definitely a sleaker look and have more power. I'm actually driving one next weekend so definitely looking forward to that. There are two things that draw me to the gen 1; 1) most of the gate manuals are gen 1, 2) they are commonly found under $90k. :0)

bought a new phone last night and oh my...the camera is 10,000 times better than my old one. i apologize for the crap quality photos from previous posts. lol. updated tank shot as of 5/29

after taking a closer look at the plumbing i decided that the gravity fed tank that came with the redsea reefer wasn't going to work for me. after much thought i decided to go with a tunze osmolator and pick up a lower profile ATO reservoir that i could fit in the stand and still have room. i found a great option and think it'll work great. Also, I have another 6105 coming but i guess it was out of stock.

Im running a Redsea 525, mitras lx7s, and a advanced aquatics ATO. Very happy.

You may want a bigger ATO, mine is 11G and I wish it was bigger.

weird...i can see pics on my computer but not tapatalk. rehosted post below:

Your rock work looks great. The rocks look different on the rock, is it another type?

they do look very different in the photos. it must be the glare from the sun through the front door. two small rocks in the left structure are more white but most are similar in color and shape. the above photo with some water looks more realistic

Yeah you are right just a optical illusion. the rock looks real nice ,where did you buy it from?

Can't remember. I've had the rock for years...over the years I've bought pieces from all over and when i took down my 500 gallon 5-6 years ago i kept around 100lbs of my favorite rock.

update. tank is cycling now and i spent some time last night building the red sea screen top. i've done quite a few DIY screen tops in the past and i've got to say that the quality of the red sea and finished product blow away the home depot diy screen top.

i wanted to create a space for the tunze cords to slip through so i had to buy a couple "zig zag" pieces (thought they came with the kit but i was wrong)

done and ready for screen. took way longer than expected

installed and i couldn't be happier with the finished product
