Lawnmower Blenny and maroon/gold strip clown?

Due to a hair algae problem I would like to get a lawnmower blenny. My husband has indicated he would eventually like a maroon clown. Are they compatible or will I need to go another route?

I just don't want to make a purchase that would prevent me from later getting the fish he wants.

yea lawnmower can hold his own and is really fast good tankmate for a maroon or pair of maroons i would never have anything but a pair of clowns they have more fun with a friend

Okay, do they need to be added as a pair or can it be staggered? Its only a 45g so I really have to add very slowly.

I would also need to move the 2 chromis out then based on the 1 inch of fish per 5g rule of thumb. Correct?

i got a great pair of mated gsms from a new outfit in knoxville, TN that is breeding clowns. i am picking up a blenny today.

its possible to introduce, sex, and mate gsms, but if you just get the pair, life is easier.

isnt this hard enough already?
