Hello,

I have a Fluval 6G tank with 4G sump. I had a clownfish, watchman goby and shrimp pair, and some corals.
My question is... can I add a lawnmower blenny in this tank? Is there any possible problem if I add it? I'd like to hear some opinion from you who has experiences with this fish.

By the way the lawnmower blenny looks so cool.

Thanks.

I think most people would agree you already pushed the limits of your tank. In addition a lawnmower blenny needs to pick at algae all day. Mine is very active i cant see one being happy in a tank that size.

I would not put any blenny in a six gallon tank. Both of the fish that you already have need larger tanks as well.

Thanks. Yes I thought the same but I just wanted to check it once again. I'll try to keep current fish.

Oh quick question. What tank size would be the limit for the blenny with current fish stock?

Liveaquaria lists the minimum for an algae blenny at 30 gallons. At that size you could fit your two fish the blenny and probably at least a fourth. I personally enjoy royal grammas :)
