Lawnmower Blenny only eats off glass.

I've had this blenny for three weeks now and have only seen him touch the rocks a time or two. Most of his days are grazing on the film algae on the back glass.

My question is, should I keep the back glass spotless to kinda get him to go after the rocks? Or will he do it on his own one day.

Mine was only eating algae but now it is taking pellets and meats.

try formula 2 pellets and hikari algae pellets.

My Bicolor is a pig. It eats off the glass, rock, frozen preparations, flaked, etc. His favorite is the Rod's Food algae sheet I put in the tank every other day. I think your Lawnmower will eat off the rock when it gets hungry enough.
