It looks way over saturated and I would rather have seen the focus point a little lower or a lot more depth of field.
The zoa patch to the right is very interesting. Being a larger colony, it makes an optical illusion of being closer to the camera than it is. I almost looks like there are two focus points. Neat!
I agree that the composition was done very well. Perhaps the saturation on the live rock (especially in the back ground) is what's bothering me. If you could leave the subject alone but try to reduce the distracting blur behind it, the image would be improved IMO.
