Hi guys i just recently bought myself my first leather coral about three days ago . it was looking lovely and opened up for the first day but on the second day it had started to close up. I think it may have gone into shed but i have also noticed some weird fungus stuff growing on its stalk and i am really concerned because i really liked this little guy and i have only had him for three days so i would hate to see him go! If anybody has any info on what it i and how i can fix it i would be really grateful!

It is very common for leathers to just act funny/close up/fall over for a few days to a week then be totally fine again..
Give it a few more days and see how it goes.

Thanks guys for the help! Sorry for all the questions but the orange stuff on the trunk is nothing to worry about then?

i'd just watch to see. if it starts to spread, maybe get a good pic of it and post.

what sort of flow is he in? toadstools like pretty good flow.

Pretty much this and what the others say are saying, Just make sure its in good Flow and keep an eye on that Stuff. I've Found toadstools to be Dramaqueens, The slighlest Brush up Against'em by something foreign and they close up for an hour or so slowly Extended as if to see if the offender is still there.
