Leather Help

I recently upgraded from 14 gallon bio cube to a 55 gallon system. The tank turnover is around 20-23 x per hour. I have a korallia 3 and a 600 gph ehiem which is throttled back. Ever since i put my leather in the tank, around 5 days ago, he has not come out. Before the move he was always out, huge and tan. Now he is kinda lying on the sand and a yellowish green kind of color.

My wife and i have decided that we think there is to much flow for him, i am unsure of this because i know they are pretty hearty and everything i have read says they adapt very well.

Basically i am wondering what you guys think, my mother in law has my camera or i would have just put up pictures.

Thanks

It's probably just a bit shocked from the move. Did you change your lighting or it's relative position to the light? Is there a lot more flow than before?

The flow is much more than before, it came off a 150w mh around 16" away to a 250 w mh around 28" away. It just keeps laying down on the floor as time is passing.

Thanks

Flow is fine, mine has 2x as much flow and ok. Just takes some getting used to and probably shocked from the move.

I have heard that leathers are very hardy corals. My toadstool leather looked near death at one time and now is finally starting to resprout again! I would just set it in a nice, comfy place in your tank and leave it be...it should come back! I also have read that they don't like direct current and should be placed in low lighting.
