Leathers to swap/sell

I have decided to remove the leathers from my tank to keep from risking the SPS. I will post pics soon, would rather swap for SPS frags or smaller colonies than sell but will sell if I have no luck. Basically its a big devils hand leather showpiece size maybe 5-6 inches tall and 4-5 wide. Also have a a white tipped toad (or its supposed to be) a Neon Green tipped, and a yellow fiji. The other are from 1-3 inches when expanded. Anyone with interest in these let me know. Also I still have the large rock of Neon Green GSP.

Ok don't look at the dusty algae on the back glass or LR without color, remember I had to tear apart the tank the other day to remove a fish. But the pics below were taken within the last couple of days.

Large Devils Hand and just below it not that clear is the Neon Polyped. I will get a better picture this evening along with the Yellow Fiji.

They say with carbon you should be ok, I am just not going to risk it. Plus they tend to take up alot of realestate in the tank.

I've been looking for a yellow fiji leather. I don't have any sps to trade for it, but maybe I could buy a frag of it?

Is combining leathers and SPS not advisable? What happens? Does a large toadstool fall in that category?

Combining species is not really recommended, but everyone does it anyway. Leathers are very chemically aggressive -- as well as growing aggressively -- and are a pretty high risk with other corals even when they don't come close to touching.

Yes, a large toadstool would be an allopathic chemical factory! But sometimes you just have to keep your old favorites, and accept less growth and vigor elsewhere in trade. :)

Short of a species specific tank, a biotope or a limited collection is nice. My seagrass lagoon biotope is in rubble from the cross-country move, but it featured only sarcophyton and lobophyllia corals -- but different colors and forms.

Allen, if your yellow sarcophyton is still available in about 6 weeks when I am more or less up and running again (unlikely, I know), I'll be happy to drive down and take it off your hands.

Thanks Nicole. Would I also need to worry about a large colt coral in my SPS tank? Would running carbon 24/7 minimize the chemical warfare?
