Leaving Reef Central....

It's far too apparent that RC moderator’s think they are gods, with us bowing to them and not challenging them, if you do they will threaten you with disabling your account.

This is no longer a good place to share information, as most of the "knowledgeable" people here, sit at a desk all day and armchair reef keep all day, and no idea of what it takes to keep a reef. They just use this forum and us to make themselves look like they are knowledgeable. You know the saying; "This that cant do, Teach".

This doesn’t apply to the PMAS forum.

As much as this site has prohibited topics, it’s clear to me that its really prohibited form just one side and I’m on the wrong side.

Now a moderator will see this post and probably delete it, again they are gods and they can’t let the rest of us know that someone is unhappy and has a point.

Or the moderator will slam me, and ban me.

Which ever way it happens, I wouldn’t expect anything less from them. They just take the easy way and press a couple mouse clicks and no one is the wiser.

I agree with you - the mod in that thread is off base and wrong. Seems like he is threateing you becuase he disgarees with your thoughts on the subject. I happen to agree with your thoughts about environmentalists. IMO, this whole global warming "issue" is the biggest farce out there.

Anyway, I would not let one mod on a power trip get to you and cause you to leave this site. For the most part, most of the mods here seem reasonable. It is wrong that one is threatening you becuase he disgarees with your opinion on a subject

Buck, I'll be sorry to see you go. I really hope you reconsider leaving just because of that topic... Mayeb you've had run-ins with other mods before, but if it's all because of that one thread, just try to blow it off and continue on.

Also, I've talked to many people who told me that I should try to set something up with you to check out your tank since I'm getting into SPS now. I'm right across the river from Wheeling, so if you'd be interested in setting something up for my buddy and I to drop by, maybe pick up a few frags, please let me know.

Buck, I'm sorry also. I consider you one of the good guys here and always read your posts. I'll bring up something I'm working on with you at the meeting that may help us with a few of the problems we have here.

Well, Im glad my point was proven so quick.

Oh yea, because of us the members and US buying from the sponsers, we keep the same "Sandbox" in operation. Its no longer your sandbox when you have sponsers, its the customers. If we didnt buy off the sponsers than RC would no longer exist.

Dont think the omnibus covers RC.

You guys already deleted the binary I had several months ago.

And so far, no one has disagreed with me in this thread, should tell you something. It would be a different story if I got slammed by the normal posters, but Im not.

100% agree on that...usually why i dont post and just read. if you say the slightest thing wrong you will get banned. I think half the time I read threads I see under the users name Moved On..

This is, and will always be, a privately owned an operated forum. Despite the fact that you agreed to our terms when you created your account, you decided to post about something that is very clearly not allowed on this site.

Cut the martyr act. The other 200,000 members seem to have no trouble following very simple rules. You aren't special.
