LED fixture

So I got my lights in a few days ago. They came packaged well and the shipping was actually pretty fast even coming from Hong Kong. I ordered 2 60w Cree LED setups. Here are some pictures from box to out and on. I plan on mounting them to my custom hood in the following week. I currently have a 4x54w Tek lighting system so I will take some FTS then put the LED's on and take a few more. I will keep updating pics over the next month or so making sure to watch growth as well as color giving updates. From what I can tell so far they are made pretty well with a huge heat sink and fan. The lights are very bright and pretty adjustable.

If anyone has any questions or would like specific pics I would be glad to help.

been watching this post and many more for quite some time,I anytime is better than never.A quick question (sorry if I missed it) what is the purchase $ on this specific unit (60w Cree LED setups)
from checking on the eshine webpage specs for these LED units they all seem to be running at 1/2 power witch is 600ma instead of 1000ma and 1500ma for royal blue.

Love that Aqua Master.Looks like it will fit my Cadlights signature series tank perfectly.Par value looks good for SPS.Anyone using this fixture yet?

I have some info on the Aquamaster light fixture. You can get it with 24w T5's if you want. It's 230$ per unit. They are sending me info.I'll post more when I get it

eShine sent me price lists and info on their fixtures. If anyone is intrested drop me a pm and i'll email them to you. They're PDF's

PAR readings

PAR readings

I went over this threat and I am verry interested in these fixtures.
Maybe I missed it but has anyone PAR readings of these lights with CREE/ Brightlux?
The Brightlux are a lot cheaper. Are the CREE that better?
PAR readings and tests with different lenses, that is what I am looking for.

Yes, Crees are more efficient, put out more light, use less electricity, create less heat, and last longer.

I don't have PAR readings, but I've been keeping LPS on the bottom of a 20H with a 3g 25led Bridgelux fixture and everything is growing great.

Dont flame me!!

Can the 60w-cree-classic-led-aquarium-light be dimmed using a regular household wall dimmer?

I have insteon dimmers that I could program to simulate dawn/dusk with dimming them throughout the day. (I just dont want to blow up the light!)
