LED lighting for 90 gal reef

I was trying to figure out which LED lights to use for my new 90 gallon reef tank. Rigth now tank has been up for 3 months so no corals yet. Looking at mostly LPS style corals. I was looking at running 2 fixtures but i want to be able to control them without being there simultaneously. I would like them to do the sunrise to sunset type of configuration if possible or at least have them do a couple different intensity changes and color changes during the day. i was thinking of these but not 100 % sure they will do exactly what i want https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UMXAR5S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1EKY20ZJ68BD1&coliid=I3PJWVGJY5ZLJA

any suggestions? I know there are better lights but they are out of my budget constraints. Thanks.

These lights will not have a sunrise/sunset, they will only turn on and off. You can control the intensity and the lights will last about 100,000 hours. Each light covers 24 x 24 x 24 just so you know. I will be upgrading to those exact lights soon.

If you are looking for more of a budget-friendly option I would consider doing the ReefBreeder Photon V2. It will cost a little more than what you posted, but far less than the big names, and give you the ability to keep pretty much anything you want. Fully controllable either via an included remote or by interfacing with an Apex.

I agree the RB Photon V2 in either the 32" or 48" version is the most cost effective option for the features afish70 wants, but I don't think this fixture can do anything 'controllable' with an Apex other than turn it on and off.

Oh my bad, I thought they were. Thanks for the correction!

What I was meaning by controllable was timer but have hopefully more than just on and off. I do not have an Apex or anything like that and do not plan on having one. The Photon V2 is an awesome fixture just not sure I can get the wife on board with a almost $700.00 light.

i know led are all the rage but i recommend you check out a sunpower t5 dimmable. cheaper than leds, integrated timer that operates on 2 channels, proven results as far as growth and considerably cheaper than most quality fixtures.

I've had these for a month and a half and they are great. Still running low intensity. Blue 35 white 15. Everything in my tank is happy. Mix of soft, LPS, SPS. You won't be disappointed.

The 32" which should work well on a 48" tank is only $399.
