LED lighting full spectrum vs regular ?

I've been looking into buying an LED fixture and after looking at different models I like the 18" 600 series by acan lighting ($500)

What is the difference between the full spectrum for growth? Which is better? Why?

Bump, how was growth. Did you have a Metal halide before ?

Thats really a heated debate if the extra spectrum does anything for your corals. That being said it does make a diffrence to our eyes. Most led fixtures that have a white and blue / royal blue combo tend to look a little flat when it comes to how everyone precives color, especiaaly for us who switched from metal halides. If you notice all the major players in the led game are now putting in colors to thier fixtures. I run AI sol blues and although all corals have good color and excellent growth. I am currently looking into some accent lighting. If I had it to do all over again I would go with a controllable full spectrum lighting system. Yes probably the new AI vegas, but buying 6 AI vegas is a bit pricey... IMHO either fixture will work. But I would go for the full spectrum.
