LED Lights

I'm looking for 3' & 4' led light fixtures for fish only. Just white light so I can see the fish, nothing fancy or dimmable needed. Anybody know of any inexpensive ones out their? Thanks!

Seeing your set-up, I have a great idea of what you are doing. I saw these at a zoo (while I was vacationing), and I actually thought of your build. I don't know exactly how these work as far as their driver/ballast works, but I saw them in a T8 fixture. They put out a decent amount of light.

Also, you may want to check out IKEA... if I recall, they had some under-cabinet lighting set ups for a reasonable price (or better than Home Depot prices at least).

And furthermore, if you want to do it differently, I know there are screw-in LED lightbulbs at Costco (that I was marveling at the price).

Hope this helps.

P.S.- I hope a few of the clowns that I hatched survived?!? I'll send an e-mail.

We replaced all of the floods in our kitchen, halls, and such with the Costco lights... Very bright and dimmable! Would probably just need a ceramic base--some models are outside safe--hence water safe?

The T-8 is $69.00 + buying a fixture. The screw in LED bulbs are great in the ceiling as I have some but that would hang down to low after installing a j box & socket. I only have 10" between the tank & then the next row above it. Solar tubes will not work since their are 2 rows of tanks with 1 above the other.
Just need a simple 3 or 4' complete fixture.
