LED moonlight activity

I installed a strip of led moonlights a month or two ago and noticed my Red Sea Sailfin Tang does not 'sleep' when it is on. If I turn off the timer and go 'black' at night he tucks away and comes out in the AM. The other fish are nowhere in sight for the most part. The tank is a 120 and he has a Flame Hawk, pair of purple firefish, and a Flame Angel as tank mates. The Sailfin is about 2 yrs old.

Should I reduce the moonlights to just an hour or two at night? or leave on till morning, as I do now.

Seems like a strange question after I write this, but thanks anyways!

I have just 4 small, blue, 12V leds over my 215 and my Yellow Tang has problems sleeping when they are on. I have them set to turn off after my bedtime. I dont think the fish need them on and I know my tang doesnt seem to like them.

Thanks,

I think I will do the same. I will set the timer to turn them off a couple hours after the actinics go off.

Thanks for the help.
