LED moonlights

I shopped a lot on ebay and after lots of review I found these guys to have the best deals out there... plus they will custom build according to your desired configuration.

$36??? Holey crap!

Check out www.oznium.com .

They have 1W flood LEDs and Superflux LEDs that are a little dimmer. I have 2 blue superflux over my 29 gallon (30") and they are awesome. For that price you cannot beat them. I wired mine in series and used a 6V AC adapter to dimm them down a bit. Nice even spread and great shimmer.

Hope that helps,

Nathan

who are these guys you talk about. the one i found or another person

Here they are:

http://www.digikits.com

For under $50 delivered, I will receive two 18" sticks, each with 15 LEDs at 1" spacing, alternating blue and white, sticks wired together, and with a dimmer control so I can adjust the output level.

You can do 2" spacing, all blue, all white., different lengths.... lots of options!

They offer white LEDs... which is closer to real moonlight. I live the blue to balance it a bit. It's similar in principle to the ProfiLux LED sticks.

Steve, there stuff is really good too... well made, nice spread. I bought a set about 3 years ago and it worked fine and looked good. The wide-angle LEDs really worked well.

However, I think that they are expensive in compared to the newer competition for moonlights. FI is basically another ebay-based company, and the other offerings out there provide more for the $.
