LED power levels?

Ok so as a beginner I got my setup pretty close ti how I want It. I have a 14g biocube rimless going since feb., and I am running inTank media basket w chemi-pure and purigen. Also bought aquastyles LED but being new I didn't get dimmable drivers. So as a result my lights are about 18" above my tank. I did however just order dim able drivers. My question is how high off the water and what power level should they be. I'd like about 8" from the surface

How many watts is the fixture?

I have my leds 8 inches off the water line.

There are (8) 3w white, and (10) 3w blue and also a blue led strip retro fitted from my old biocube lid

I would keep it 7-8 inches off the water. Anything less tends to get splashed and rusty.
