I just ordered two 10k bulbs for my 2x 250w Current Sunpod. I realize that this will produce a yellow hue, so I am adding on the Aquastyle DIY led strips to add some blue and extra PAR. They are dimmable and come with 24 leds, but I have two questions.
1) Should I get all 24 in Royal Blue, or 20 Royal Blue with 4 Actinic Violet. I am leaning towards the second option in hopes of bringing out more colors in my corals.
2) I have my Sunpod on the stock legs, and plan on mounting these strips on the fixture itself. With a tank that is 24 inches deep, and lights that are only 4-5 inches off of the water, should I go without optics? If I do need lens, what angles (80, 60, or 45)?
