Led Supplemented with T5?

I'm in the process of purchasing a 5 ft 120gal. It's 26" deep.

The system comes with a retro fit 4 bulb t5(48in) and an s300 LedZeal 36".

My question is a two part:

1) Light the tank full time with T5 and supplement with LED or vice versa.

2) The system currently is set up with only 3 t5s installed and comes with a 4th. Should I install it? What bulb combo with this? Everyone says 2b+ with 2c+ for this kind of supplement from what I've read.

The tank will be slightly mixed with zoas at the bottom and then full SPS after that.

I would use the LEDs for the majority of the day and have the T5's kick on for about 6 hours or so for the midday light. You want to use all 4 bulbs, since the ballasts usually power the lights in pairs. 2 B+ and 2 C+ is a good color combo, but it depends on what your LEDs are putting out. If the LEDs look too white or too blue then you can balance with bulbs.

That will output a lot of light and you should be good for SPS.

agree with both users above-- I use a ready made ATI hybrid light fixture with 4 t5 bulbs (blue+/coral+) which supplement (2) 75 watt LED bulbs with blue + light wavelengths. LED run 8 hours, T5 over ten hours, six of which are 100% intensity. 90 gallon SPS tank, grows acros on the bottom glass (18 inches high tank, 2-300 par on bottom)

i got a 24" tank lit by 1 blackbox with only blue and white LED's then i got a Aquaray module that i only use the blue LED's on.these are on from 10-22
I also have 2x 24W T5's one being Power Glo 18000k from Hagen and the other being Eheim marinepower hybrid these are on from 09-20

Colors are excellent on my Acros and Montis but growth is rather slow..

Doesn't have one up yet. Sounds like he wants to do something smaller but hasn't had the time to enjoy it. That's why he broke this Dow.
