Leds for a large tank

Hey guys I have a friend who has a huge tank I'm 90% sure its 6 foot by 30 inches by 30 inches AKA BIG and he only has Lps and softies right now and he wants to put sps in the tank. Currently he is running 2 400 watt metal halide bulbs and I think 4 but possibly 8, 65 watt power compact bulbs and a chiller. I've been telling him about Leds and he really wants to change over to Leds now but I'm unsure what fixture he should go with and I just wana help a fellow enthusiast out so if anyone could help me out with this it would be a major help I'm going to list some led units I was thinking of using so if anyone knows more about them plz share you knowledge and experience.
Rapid Led's Onyx or Aurora kits
Ai's Vega, or either Hydra model
any Radion model
Any Kessil model
or any Ecoxotics strips or Cannons
I'm looking for what would be the most efficient and for the money the best bang for the buck so once again plz share what you know about which fixture would be the best investment Thank you every one!

U get most PAR for the money with Maxspect Raxor, I use them myself, and they are cheap - and most important, my corals love them

I went with the Orphek Atlantiks. My tank is 8' x 3' x 2.5'H. 4 x Orpheks covers the space nicely. If I were to go with Ecotech or the AI's, I reckon I would need more than 4 units.

That is the exact size of our tank (72x30x30 = 280gallons). I can't speak to the LED's listed above (and I'm sure they are good) but we have 4 Reefbreeder 32" protons on our tank and absolutely love them. For $1,600 it was a relatively inexpensive LED option.

Me too. My tank is 52" x 32" (wide) and I went with 2 Atlantiks mounted front to back. When I eventually set up my 65" x 40" (wide) I'll add another Atlantik, again mounted front to back.
