Hi there
First, I apologize.. the search feature seems to not be working... And I know several of you have posted the information I'm seeking..
Has anyone kept a gigantea anemone (sucessfully) under AI Sol Blue led's?
I know it is a very specific question, and I hoping for specific answers. That said, being reefing lol I'm sure other, related experiences (LED related) will be helpful too.
I have had 400 watt halides for years, and am downsizing my tank. I'd like to transition (ok, the fixture is ordered so it's a done deal) to the AI Sol Blue led's on the new tank.
The new tank is a 70 cube, and the idea is a dedicated gigantea/clown tank, with other random corals.
Disclaimer.... I have a fair amount of experience with LTA and haddoni. Also BTA (least favorite nem!) and maxi mini's. This tank will have a few maxi mini's in it as well, but the other nems will be rehomed. I have successfully kept the previous for years, with the exception of the haddoni that is about to turn 1.. :celeb3:
The tank will be a new set up, but cycled (fully) using sand and rock from my current tank.
Ok, after all that hot air.. the question...
Who is keeping a gigantea with AI Sol Blue LED's? What is your tank size, and water depth... How long have you been keeping this animal under these lights, and did you transition from another type of lighting (and how.)
If you are keeping a gigantea with other LED's, I'm interested too! What type, water depth, amount of time.. Did you transition lighting from another type?
Thank you in advance!
