No personal experience from me man, still in the process of setting up my first salty but I'm mostly going to buy AI sol's as they seem like legit lights, no disco to my eyes when I see them in person. Just my two cents...

I have a big tank 68.5" X 72" X 16.5 deep.
I started with 3 Kessils (2-A150 deep ocean blue & 1-350 tuna blue) like the other guy said They are not good over a large tank.
Switched to 2- Gen2 Radions about a month ago and I love them!! The control software needs a lot of work But i imagine they'll get it fixed one of these days. I'm going to be ordering 2 of the newer ones soon.
It is just annoying to look at AI has some of the worst banding. It really depends how you have the colors turned up. You can play around with the blend to reduce it.

I personally have 2 Maxspect Razors 420 27" 16,000 Kelvin units over my 125 gallon. (SPS and Clams) and all my frags are growing well. I have witnessed the cheap Evergrow D120 lights that Reefbreeders sell as Photons work great for bare bottoms functionality too. I'll see if I'm really saving much ordering direct from the manufacturer or through Reefbreeders. I just ordered a bunch of Jebao WP 40/25 from a US seller just because I didn't want to wait 8-18 days for shipping for $40 savings so it's really up to your value system.
The key in my mind is getting the best Full Spectrum lighting system (unfortunately not an easy thing to verify other than looking at the mix of color bulbs they are using). The Dimming function is nice to have to acclimate newer corals but you can do that mechanically too with some sheets of screening on top too.
Also take a look at the OCReef Tesla PowerMax 120 - not as well known but has some good reviews and even supports the Apex too. I may pick these up on my next build.
