I am plaining on making my LED light for my 96" x 24" x48"t reef tank center overflow in the bottom. I plan on keeping SPS ,clams, anemones. How does this LED set up look?
i am getting this set up from http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1976062 but adding a few more LEDS
(8) alum U channel
(144) CREE XP-E Royal Blue
(96) CREE XP-G Blue
(5) Inventronics 120w driver - 2100mA
(60) 60 degree optics. 30 on each end U channel
(180) 40 degree optics
I didnt list everything but it will be around $2,400
I did have a 96" x 24" x 24" before I got this and what going to use this set up
(48) CREE XP-E Royal Blue
(48) CREE XP-G Blue
(16) CREE XM-L neutral White
(3) Inventronics 120w driver - 2100mA
Was told by the LED supplier that it was around a 12K look. I want a bluer look. this set up would be around $1,300
Is there a better ? I would rather use CREE LEDs bc they seem to still be better than aquastlyes or off brands
