left out anthias

I just got my new order of carberryi anthias last friday and I noticed that 2 of them will swim around together but one will just stay in it's PVC tube. Is this normal or is there possibly something wrong with the hiding fish? It just seems like the other 2 don't leave each other's side and they are eating vigorously while the other catches only things that float by the tube.

On another note, I was thinking of dosing prazipro as a precaution. What dosing recommendations do you have?

I HAD 4 carberryi anthias that all of a sudden died on their 5th week of hypo. It looked like swimbladder, but I dont know for sure.

Any case, I did a full dose of prazipro early on in the hypo treatment and that did not hamper their eating at habits at all. They all ate like horses til about 2 days before they died. 1 died, then another 2 died about 2 days after, then the last one died after another day.

Mine were the same in qt. One wouldn't eat very much and kept in a corner. He eventually got better after about 2 weeks in qt and started eating with the others.

Good to hear about prazipro, but sorry you lost yours! I am not doing hypo, just SG of 1.020 and I will adjust slowly to match my tank water of 1.024 when it's time.

I'm glad to hear that the fish will eventually come out and eat. I am hoping it will be soon as I have not seen it eat. He keeps squeezing himself under the fake decorations while the other 2 swim about.
